Fine Art Folio Wedding Albums
I thought I would take the opportunity to show you an example of the fine art wedding albums I have available to clients. The albums are available to be bought separately, at either 8”x8”, 10”x10” or 12”x12”, or if you’ve booked either the Half or Full Day Album Package you get a 10”x10” fine art wedding album included in the price, as part of the package (saving £50). The photographs in this blog post are of a recent album ordered by Lisa & Alan who got married in May, that I designed for them. The albums themselves are supplied by Folio Albums (http://www.folioalbums.com), who are a Yorkshire based printing company specialising in eco-friendly products and methods. 
The album process usually follows these steps:
- Once you receive your disc of finished wedding photographs, have a good look through and let me know which photographs you would like to be featured in your album (80-100 images),
- I will then use the information you supply me with to design a bespoke album for you and produce a first draft template,
- Once the first draft is complete I will send you my design for your approval. If you are happy with this then I will carry on with the ordering process, however if there are any amendments you’d like making then I will of course carry these out and confirm with you again until you are happy with the design,
- Let me know if you would like either a leather or a cotton cover for your book and also what you would like it to say on the front,
- Once we have the final design and you have let me know what colour cover you would like, I will then order the album for you through Folio,
- After I have placed the order, Folio will contact me to provide an estimated shipping date for your album (this is usually around 4 weeks after the order date) and regularly keep in touch to update me on the progress of your album,
- During this time I will update you as well to let you know how your album is progressing,
- Once the album arrives I will then deliver it to you myself.
All in all this process takes a maximum of 5 weeks from the date of ordering the album (unless there is a backlog during Folio’s busy period – if this is the case I will inform you upon ordering).
